Fluffy Fridays- OsoCozy Prefold Review and Giveaway! CLOSED

For today's Fluffy Fridays segment we will be talking about prefolds. Prefolds are a diaper that you fold up to fit your baby. Prefolds are used with a diaper fastener (such as a Snappi or traditional diaper pins), and a cover for waterproofness. 

OsoCozy has several kinds of prefolds. We were sent bleached infant prefolds, and unbleached toddler prefolds to try out and review.

The infant prefolds that we received are the PERFECT size for Annabelle. We have been using them for a little over a month, and I love them. When we first started using them she was about 12.5lbs, and now she is 15lbs, and they still fit her well.

If you have never used a prefold before, it is interesting when you get them brand new. They come all nice and flat, but once you wash and dry them they get a quilted texture to them.

Interesting, right? Well this quilting helps them become thicker and more absorbent. 

 I personally think that prefolds are one of the most absorbent diapers that you can get, and definitely one of the most economical.

OsoCozy's prefolds are made up of two sets of 4 layers of material, that are overlapped in the middle (so that means 8 layers in the middle). This creates an awesome layer of absorbency right where it is needed.

The toddler sized prefolds are pretty big, and I know Nolyn will get a lot of use out of these since I am pretty sure they will fit him all the way until he is potty trained. 

Another thing I love about prefolds is that you can fold them many ways. You just try out the different folding techniques until you find one that works well for you and your child.

Containment: Very good absorbency, "explosion" containment depends on fold and cover.

Ease of use: B prefolds take some practice.

Drying Time: Decent, a little longer than inserts, but not as long as AIOs
