When deciding which toys for each of my children I would get for review, I came across the Critter Clinic. The Critter Clinic was perfect.... I knew just who would love it! I was right (when aren't mothers right?)! Well, when our box of wonderful toys came, I set them all out and waited for the kids to get home...
As soon as Liam came in, he went to the Critter Clinic and asked, "Is this for me?!"
Perfect. :)
Liam is one to wear his heart on his sleeve. His love is always out there and he can be so caring! I knew this toy would take that natural gift and let him have fun with it!
B.'s Critter Clinic reminds me of a briefcase, but instead of opening up fully only the top opens. When you lift the roof you have a space for all the veterinary tools that you need to make the kitty and puppy all better. You can also place the two (stuffed) animals in their kennels for safe keeping. The little veterinarian has a fun key ring with keys to the animal's kennels so that they can't run away.
Other tools that are included are a thermometer, a stethoscope, a syringe (the boys' favorite), tweezers, and a mirror. I love pretend play, and this is definitely a fun pretend experience!
We did find that the boys had difficulty fitting the tools back up top, especially the stethoscope, but all it took was asking an adult to help. Other than that... this toy has provided the boys with a perfect way to learn about caring for sick animals!
Critter Clinic won The National Parenting Center 2010 First Place Award and Seal of Approval and is Highly rated by Able Play™ for children with special needs.
The Critter Clinic can be found at Target stores and select specialty stores as well. I found this online, at Target, for $21.99.

DD loves playing Dr! I think she would get frustrated that she couldn't fit everything in it though! LOL She has to do everything by herself! @@
