Many of you know our family loves Netflix. It is hands down the most cost-effective way to get our family the shows we want to see when we want to see them. For just $7.99 a month, we get unlimited streaming of our favorite shows, movies, and best of all.... family friendly content that we can enjoy together. Netflix has a newly launched family site, a great go-to to find the prefect content for your family night...or maybe some Saturday morning cartoons?!

That top row... Family Movie Night... well, all our kids LOVE those movies. The only one we haven't seen is Hoodwinked Too!  We are loving the family oriented content, and it makes it so much easier to find titles for the kids.

Summertime can be challenging, there is more time to keep the kids occupied, and parents still need to get things done. Sometimes you just need a little time to do something, and I like Netflix's availability (Many families in the U.S. already have three or more Netflix-ready devices in their household. Netflix works on a wide range of devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, Smart TVs, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Wii.). Since most smartphones are able to have a Netflix app, this is a great option for on the go and vacation time, too. Sometimes the kids just need something to preoccupy themselves with (ex. long car rides), and I know my kids love to be able to pick a movie and watch it during those times.

Netflix.com/Families features several new categories including Family Movie Night, Are We There Yet and TV for Curious Kids. And...one of my FAVORITE categories...

OH YEAH! Classics to Share with Your Kids!  Seriously! He-Man, She Ra, and TransFormers are HUGE hits in our house, but I am really hoping to share some of the other great shows that I remember when I was a kid with my own children.

Netflix.com/Families is a new destination designed to meet your family’s summertime entertainment needs. On Netflix.com/Families, parents can find lists of movies and TV shows for all kinds of special summer moments.

Visit www.Netflix.com/Families for more information on the best ways to stream as well as videos from families using Netflix.

What shows or movies would you love to share with your children? When would Netflix come in handy for you?

Netflix is awesome and I don't think we could live without it haha. All of my kids watch it on all devices: tv's, Nook, iPods and even the game systems. Keeps them all happy.

Ok, now I'm SO glad I saw this post! I was wondering what to do about having cable or something and guess what?! for 7.99/mo I could go without cable and just have this!! We're moving and I need something affordable. Not sure how it all works, but I'm heading there to find out right now!
