Those Rosy Cheeks....

Promotional sample received. All opinions are my own. No monetary compensation was received for this post.

Our little Luke has some of the rosiest cheeks I have ever seen... he has since he was about 2 months old. What I didn't know until recently is that those rosy cheeks are actually eczema. Along with his rosy red cheeks, he also had this red rash on his arms and hands. When we went in for his 6 month checkup the doctor was quite taken aback, she asked what cream we were using for his eczema.

I explained to her that we weren't using anything other than regular lotion for the redness. We had had other children with eczema, but it never had presented like this. With the other kids it was rough patches of very dry skin. We left the appointment with a prescription for a steroid cream. Unfortunately, we didn't see much improvement with the cream.

When I was offered the opportunity to review a natural way to help eczema I was more than willing to try. Healing Hazel offers both HealingHazel necklaces, which help with eczema, and Baltic Amber necklaces that can help with teething.

We received a necklace similar to this:
Within days we noticed the redness was diminished, and he's been wearing the necklace ever since. Here's Luke on his 1st birthday...as always, wearing his HealingHazel necklace!

As you can see, the red rosy cheeks are no longer there...and there is no rash on his arms either. We have been able to forgo any further steroid treatment!

Other than being helpful for his eczema, we get a TON of compliments on his necklace. People are always commenting on it, and when I let them know it is actually beneficial they are amazed! I highly recommend the HealingHazel necklace for anyone who is looking for a more natural way to help eczema. Of course, I am not a doctor, and I cannot guarantee it will work for you, but it's definitely something we are glad we tried.

Please be sure to always supervise your baby when s/he is wearing necklaces.
