What's your #SocialPower ?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Social Power for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

What’s a problem called before it actually becomes a problem? It’s called an issue. And a just-launched New York-based startup called Social Power is on a mission to collect and resolve important everyday issues.

The way Social Power works is simple. First, users post the most important, resolvable issues affecting them as well as others. Once a user shares that issue on the site, Social Power works to raise awareness for it within its own social network, while the issue creator does the same in his or hers.

My issue? I think that satellite companies are offering sub-par services with inflated rates because cable is not available in rural areas. I would love to see cable in more rural areas so that pressure is placed on the satellite companies to better their service. I think this would make a difference .

We will be moving to a more rural area soon... and right now we enjoy unlimited internet, at an amazing speed, as well as great reliable television- all without a contract. When we looked into satellite service for our new home we were shocked to find limited internet at a tenth of the speed we currently use, television that is not reliable, and an outragous two year contract!

What do you think? Is this an issue you would like to see worked on? Help me spread the word- support the issue, comment on the issue, and share this issue- and let's see if we can make a difference together!
