Google is mad at me.

So, I haven't posted in a bit. A large part of that is because our household has been stricken with illness after illness, especially the last two months, but it is also because I have been doing a lot of things behind the scenes. See, Google has taken my Page Rank away.  Now, most people won't have any clue what that is...and I really don't have perfect knowledge about it, but I know it is important.

Page Rank helps Google decide where in the search results my posts should show up. I prefer the first page of results- that would get more people to my blog....but of course, that's not up to me. So, anyhow...long story short: Google took away my Page Rank of 2 (not great, but not horrible) and put me back at 0. I have been changing links and trying to look into areas where I may not have been following Google's rules as they thought I should have. We'll see if I can get this resolved in time.

I am still here, and I still plan on blogging for all of my faithful readers! I just needed to take some time and decide that it will be okay, and I can work through this small bump in the road on my blogging journey!

I was sad to see that it hit so many good blogs.... :( Take your time to get things figured... We'll be here patiently waiting!

That sucks so much, I wish that didn't happen to you and the others. I also wish I understood Google. What to do or not do... it scares me that I might be doing something wrong. I hope to see you back around more but take your time. Life comes first :)

I think this wakes up and freaks out all us bloggers out there. I'm worried about my pr! It sucks that we don't know what to do or not to do!

well that just stinks! I hope they will get back to you and help you figure this mess out. Glad you're still here and blogging.

This stinks. It's so hard, because I know as bloggers we should know all of the "rules", however, it's practically impossible to know them all, let alone understand most of them. A warning from Google with whatever "rules" you broke spelled out and time to fix those rules would have been more appropriate. It's not like you did it on purpose. Ugh, stinkin' Google.
I'm glad you didn't give up and quit though!!
