Get Earth Friendly with Cariloha!

Cariloha recently sent me these sandals to check out and tell you all about.

They weren't my first choices, but Cariloha's sandals must have been popular since the ones I wanted were out of stock. *sad trombone*

I have fairly big feet... usually a 9.5 or 10. I received 10's and they seemed to fit fairly well.  The Coki Beach sandals (teal) seemed little lengthly in the toe, but they were comfortable.  The Magens Bay sandals (plaid) were more comfortable to start off with.

The sandals' straps are made out of bamboo. Bamboo is a sustainable resource. It grows quickly and is also hypoallergenic.

I've been wearing these sandals for a bit now, and while the Magens Bay sandals were my favorite at first, they are definitely showing wear. The plaid design has rubbed off and the soles have curved.

The Coki Beach sandals have faired better. I wouldn't have chosen the teal color myself, I would have much preferred the navy, and the cloth lining is discolored from wear. I thought this cloth lining would quickly pull up and off of the sole of the sandal, but so far it has surprised me. There is only minimal curling of the fabric near the toe.  The straps have been strong and I've had no issues with them. Both pair of sandals are definitely wearable still. I LIVE in flip-flops. I would wear them every day if I could (Ah, but my job...and snow... prevent me from doing so). So, my sandals go through quite a bit of use. For under $20 a pair, these are worth the price for a great season of wear.
