Their first cry...

This is a sponsored post made possible by Pampers. All opinions are my own.

Oh those sweet baby firsts. The milestones your child reaches, those magnificent firsts that you experience as a parent are truly bittersweet.

I remember when I was in labor with my first child. I was so terrified of labor, I thought it would be the most excruciating thing I could ever experience. I was pleasantly surprised when I handled it well, without medication and without much complaining. Those first seconds after my son was born, they were so brief but felt so long. Those very scary seconds that it took before I heard his cry, before the relief came and I was able to take it all in. That was an amazing moment.

My life was filled with amazing moments from that day. With the birth of each child, I am lucky enough to experience these wonderful firsts again... but they are never quite the same and always just as magical and still as bittersweet. To see your child grow and learn in front of your eyes is a delight and blessing.

About the Pampers “Firsts” Program

As the #1 choice of hospitals in North America and the first diaper worn by millions of babies, Pampers Swaddlers comforts and protects babies through their entire journey of amazing firsts. Pampers understands there is nothing more joyful or rewarding than the precious first-time moments shared by little ones and their families. In honor of this special journey, Pampers has released a compilation video entitled “Firsts” that highlights those wondrous “first” experiences together.

From the first time parents see their little one on a sonogram to the first evening home from the hospital, the Pampers “Firsts” video showcases precious, heart-felt moments babies and parents share together. Pampers recognizes that all first moments, no matter how big or small, are moments to be cherished and celebrated. Pampers is honored to be a part of the journey of firsts for millions of families around the world every day.

Pampers wants to celebrate those firsts... and you can remember those wonderful feelings again by watching this short and heartwarming video.

Pampers sponsored a wonderful get together with some of my friends, and we all got to enjoy each others company while we talked about some of those wonderful "firsts".

Happy smiles while viewing the Pampers Firsts video.

We all agreed that the feeling of relief when you finally give birth, and then hear that sweet cry (which you won't find so sweet in the middle of the night for the next... oh, two years or so), was a magical time.

The first diaper I changed after becoming a mother was a Pampers Swaddler. The hospital supplied them for me (Pampers is the #1 choice of hospitals in North America!), and I hadn't yet thought about what brand of diapers I would use, but for my first, and all future babies we have used Pampers Swaddlers for our newborns.

I had always been sad when our babies grew out of Pampers Swaddlers, but now babies are lucky! Pampers Swaddlers are available through size 6!

We've only had one child who has needed a size 6, and it is our 2 year old, Luke. We are working on potty training with him, but he is very specific about the diapers he wears at night. He demands Pampers Swaddlers (preferably with Elmo).  If only he was able to create a review on Pampers Swaddlers, I'm sure it'd be stellar! Good thing I've done one for him, and you can post your review too, here.

Pampers Swaddlers offer up to 12 hours of dryness... and that's a big deal. Our little ones need sleep, and heck... so do parents!

We had a very nice time gathering together to reminisce about some of the first we've experienced and talk about some that we have yet to see.

Would you like to create your own baby's "firsts" video? You can upload 5-15 videos to create a wonderful little trip through your baby's first at Pamper's microsite here. You can then share the video via Facebook and/or Twitter (use #PampersFirst, too!).

Leave a comment below telling me your most heartwarming first....
