Breakfast Battle... #NGHarvest #MC

“I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Nutri-Grain. I received product samples and promotional item to thank me for participating.”

I know I can't be the only adult to have a serious battle with breakfast. I just don't have time for it! I am often eating whatever I can put in my hands and walk out the door with (yes, sometimes it's cold, left over pizza). Unfortunately, when I just grab and go, it usually isn't always the most filling- and that means I will likely snack sooner and more frequently....and of course, there are days when I just can't find something in the house that I can eat on the go.

Eating a wholesome breakfast is an important way to start each day, but the clock and ever-changing morning to-do lists seem to conspire against busy adults, leaving us feeling unprepared to take on the challenges of the morning ahead. The healthy, on-the-go Nutri-Grain® Fruit & Oat Harvest cereal bars are made with a hearty combination of protein (4 grams!) , real fruit and whole grains to help busy adults thrive, not just survive the whole morning.

You've been there, right? Just trying to survive until lunch....watching the clock tick away until you can grab something to stave off the hunger pangs. Even if you aren't feeling starved, energy levels can crash if you haven't had enough protein to fuel you throughout the day. Missing breakfast just isn't any good. Well, we were happy to try these new Fruit & Oat Harvest cereal bars.

My husband loves these. He's always been a fan of Nutri-Grain bars, as have I, but he really loves the Fruit & Oat Harvest bars. I think I prefer the traditional Nutri-Grain bars, personally- I'm not a huge fan of the fruit being on top. Raymond, though, thinks these are the best new food item he's tried recently and has asked me to keep the cupboards well stocked for his needs. The kids enjoyed these as well, and I do think these will be a great item to have on hand for those mornings when we are especially rushed (ahem... late).

At a suggested price of $3.59 per box (of 5 bars), I think the price is reasonable and I don't feel too bad about picking a few boxes up to keep everyone happy.

So, what about you? Do you find breakfast a challenge? What do you normally have?
