Awesome Baby Monitor!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of VTech Communications for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

A new baby is amazing, but it can be really hard to leave them alone out of sight. One thing that I was super nervous about was bringing home Luke (who was in the NICU). I wish I would have had a great video baby monitor like the VTech VM333 Safe & Sound®!

Most baby monitors offer a way to listen in on your baby. While this is helpful, nothing beats seeing your little one sleeping safely. The VTech VM333 goes even beyond being able to see your baby. This monitor allows you to move the camera remotely so you can see exactly what you want to see as well as allow you to zoom in to get a closer look! And, I can't forget to mention that you can see just fine in the dark as well!
This monitor also allows two way communication. You can actually let your baby know you are on your way when s/he wakes up! The voice clarity is surprisingly good, and you can actually tell who is talking (our children can clearly tell who is speaking from the parent unit). This is great because I have used other monitors that are more "walkie-talkie" sounding and less realistic.

The parent unit can connect with up to four cameras. We only received one camera, so I didn't get to try out this feature, but I can definitely see how it would be valuable to have one in the nursery and one in the family room, or wherever the baby may be.

The only issue we have run into is when it is darker outside and the light isn't on inside. The light from the window is enough to switch the screen to full color while angled near the window, but when we turn it away from the window it suddenly flashes and blinks between night vision and full color. This stops of course when we turn on the light or close a curtain.

Another thing to note is that you cannot hear what is going on when you are speaking to the child (or pressing the buttons to move the camera). The incoming audio is muted during that time so if you want to hear what the child is doing be quick with the buttons and don't hold them down longer than needed.

Overall we have been very impressed with the Safe & Sound® monitor and we even plan on getting another camera unit in the near future!

Wow, that is a high-tech video monitor! It would have been nice to have that when my nephew Squeak was staying here... we were usually in the basement when he was way up on the second floor sleeping. We could hear him through the monitor, but it would have been reassuring to see him also!

It is really high tech...and AWESOME! I love being able to zoom in and to move the camera to see what's going on.
