Our little town does a Window Night every year. You walk downtown, see the pretty displays in windows, get some free hot chocolate, ride a hayride and in a firetruck...and best of all, SEE SANTA!
We do this every year, it has become a tradition and is really fun. This year we didn't get to do the firetruck or hayrides; it was just plain snowing too hard! We stood in line waiting for Santa to arrive for about 40 minutes, and during that time we got covered in a couple inches of snow!

I wish our town did something like this! We do a HUGE parade for the "fall" and one for Halloween. Nothing for Thanksgiving or Christmas. :(
