RJ's homework over Thanksgiving weekend was to make a family tree. For days I pondered how I should do this, and how much detail I should put into it. Let's just say things get pretty jumbled, especially on my side of the family. We opted to go simple.
Then we had to decide what format to do our tree in. Should we do boxes and lines? Nah, too boring. A tree with leaves to represent people? No, wouldn't look right. So, I searched and searched. I found this example online: http://www.teachpreschool.org/2010/09/we-made-our-family-apple-tree-in-kindergarten/ and knew that was it!
We used apples to represent family members, and I think it turned out pretty well! So, if you ever need to make a family tree and are wondering what to do, here is our example!

ReplyDeleteHi Jenilee, When I moved to .com from blogspot, Blogger did it automatically and it took several days. It transferred everything fine, otherwise, you might need to download the entire template and paste it yourself. I guess I need more specifics to be able to answer you fully. :-)
